Talent and production for the AI-native moving image.
Trained to Imagine represents artists, directors, and creative technologists building the next era of visual media — where human taste meets machine imagination.
A new company for a new image era.
The tools have changed. The need for taste has not. The people behind Trained to Imagine come from film, advertising, and post — directors, editors, designers, and production leads who learned craft on set and in the edit bay before the models arrived. We combine live-action, AI generation, VFX, and finishing in a single pipeline, moving fluidly between the camera and the model to deliver finished work for brands, studios, agencies, and cultural projects.
Talent
Representing the next generation of AI-native artists, directors, and creative technologists.
Production
Building scalable creative workflows for commercials, music videos, film, television, and branded content.
Taste
Curating the human judgment, craft, and finishing required to make AI work feel intentional.

Wayan Palmieri
Close to 30 years in film, television, post-production, and VFX. For nearly a decade at Marvel Studios — Black Panther, Avengers: Endgame, Deadpool & Wolverine — across 25 features, multiple TV shows, and 40+ trailers, plus the Apple Vision Pro experience What If…? – An Immersive Story. Earlier work spanned Paramount, Lionsgate, Fox, and National Geographic. He started working with AI in 2019 and left Marvel in 2025 to become SVP, Head of Production at Kartel, where he led production end-to-end across the company's slate — managing enterprise accounts (Netflix, Fox Entertainment, Warner Music Group, Newell Brands, VidMob), DTC and retail brands (Lidl, Coleman, Contigo, Bubba), authoring the production SOP that ran every engagement, building internal pipeline tooling, hiring and directing AI artist teams, and developing tiered model strategies across a wide range of image and video models. In parallel he works as an independent director and AI artist, creating generative music videos and short films for Justice, Bambaata (fka Bam Marley), and MAGIC!, alongside original work. He now leads Trained to Imagine while developing ProvaVault. His great-grandfather was a Golden-Era Hollywood matte painter — the line from classical craft to new tools runs in the family.

Miguel Angelo Pate
Writer, director, and producer based in Berlin. He started in the mid-2000s as an assistant director on major international productions — second AD on Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds, and third AD on Speed Racer (the Wachowskis), Hanna (Joe Wright), and Unknown — learning the craft on Hollywood sets alongside some of its most distinctive filmmakers. He went on to write, direct, and produce his own work: the debut short Bridges (a “living graphic novel” set during the Berlin Airlift), Sweetheart, and the horror feature Heilstätten (Haunted Hospital). More recently he co-wrote Til Schweiger's Manta Manta – Zwoter Teil (2023). A key player in Berlin's independent film scene, his work blends genre storytelling with stylized visuals.
Pure AI, or hybrid. Whatever the work needs.
Some projects are fully AI-generated. Others are hybrid — live-action photography, generative models, and traditional post combined in a single pipeline. Plates feed models. Models feed comp. Comp feeds finish. One creative direction holds it together, whether the work is pure AI or shot on set.
Independent capabilities — use one, or combine all three.

The bottleneck is no longer generation. It is taste.
Generative tools have made image-making faster and more accessible. But professional work still depends on judgment: what to make, what to keep, what to refine, and how to deliver it at a level clients can trust. Trained to Imagine is built for that layer.
The volume of generated media is exploding.
Taste, selection, and direction are becoming more valuable.
Brands and studios need reliable partners who can deliver finished work, not just experiments.
Made with AI. Cleared like a production.
AI changes how the image is made — not what a brand needs before it goes live: clear ownership, clean rights, and confidence the work is safe to air. We bring production discipline to that layer, so legal can say yes as fast as the work moves.
Not just policy — enforced in ProvaVault, our image and video generation platform, where provenance, approvals, and retention are recorded on every asset. Outputs are screened for third-party IP similarity with Copysight before delivery.
Ownership
You own the finished work — full rights to use, modify, and distribute, assigned on final payment. Your source materials stay yours.
Clearance
Cleared to air: signed releases for real people, licensed or original music, no infringing third-party IP, only commercially-licensed AI tools.
Confidentiality
Confidential by default, NDAs standard. Your briefs, footage, and outputs are never used to train models or build tools.
Accountability
A human directs, reviews, and signs off on every deliverable before it reaches you — the same discipline you'd expect from any studio.
Full ownership, rights, and confidentiality terms — written for your legal and procurement teams.
